Wouldn't that be cool to earn money from a prospect even if they are not interested in what your primary business is. Not many marketers take advantage of this, and many leave lots of money on the table.
It was frustrating for me being able to generate lots of leads to my primary website, but I had a very low conversion rate, so I wasnt making enough money to cover my advertising.
There must be other things that you can do to get your leads to buy something from you, I thought. A
ll that time and money spent to get leads into my funnel and then what to do when they don't want to join.
I was getting annoyed and frustrated that is until I was introduced to 'affiliate marketing'.
Becoming an affiliate was the best thing that ever happened to me and my business.
Affiliate Marketing is where a third party advertises products or services on behalf of a retailer in return for an agreed commission for a sale or lead.
This method has proved very popular due to its' "pay for performance" model which allows a large number of affiliates to be taken on, but only rewarding those which return results.
With affiliate marketing, if you choose the products that will be of use to the niche market you are in, then this is what will make you additional income.
With the lead generation system I use there are over 30 different types of affiliate products that I can retail to other marketers and business owners.
This is additional income that I generate from leads to originally come in through my primary business, but who for whatever reason decide not to join.
Now the commission from affiliate products differ, but you can get anything from 15% to 50% commission, and most affiliates pay monthly or if you get to a certain amount that you can specify yourself.
Now I had to learn how to market my affiliate products effectively and it took a while to perfect the method I use.
The best way I have found is to write a useful article about a problem that the product can resolve, and then that way you can promote the product to get more sales.
