2018 is about to begin.. Are you ready?

Every year I take at least a week out to start planning my year ahead. I normally do this towards the last week in December.

Every year I take at least a week out to start planning my year ahead. I normally do this towards the last week in December.

It is important to plan what you would like to achieve your goals, your dreams, setting your intentions,  and importantly putting a strategy and plan together as to how to achieve those on a day-to-day basis.

If you haven’t started already to plan your 2018, then I challenge you to do so starting today. If you’re interested in joining me and a few of my friends on the 30th of December online to a vision board party then to drop a comment and I will send you an  invite.

Steps to set your intentions

Here is a great article I found that will help you to set your intentions by Dr Deepak Chopra

Intention is the starting point of every dream. It is the creative power that fulfills all of our needs, whether for money, relationships, spiritual awakening, or love.

Everything that happens in the universe begins with intention. When I decide to buy a birthday present, wiggle my toes, or call a friend, it all starts with intention.

The sages of India observed thousands of years ago that our destiny is ultimately shaped by our deepest intentions and desires. The classic Vedic text known as the Upanishads declares, “You are what your deepest desire is. As your desire is, so is your intention. As your intention is, so is your will. As your will is, so is your deed. As your deed is, so is your destiny.”

An intention is a directed impulse of consciousness that contains the seed form of that which you aim to create. Like real seeds, intentions can’t grow if you hold on to them. Only when you release your intentions into the fertile depths of your consciousness can they grow and flourish. In my book The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success, the Law of Intention and Desire lays out the five steps for harnessing the power of intention to create anything you desire.

Christmas Over, Let’s Get You Back on Track with Your Health Goals

We are fast approaching end of the year and many of us need to think about our health and getting back on track after all those goodies we had over the holidays….

I love Christmas, but it should come with a health warning….  You eat and eat and eat, all the wrong foods, and seemingly with no limit at all.

I love food, I love Cheese, I love wine…. all these things are not great for keeping my figure on point, so starting January its got to go…..

I will be starting January 2nd with a 5 day detox and 30 day healthy eating and exercising regime.

Here are a few things I am doing to help me get on track, I hope it helps you too…

  • Cut out sweets and chocolate
  • Reduce Alcohol intake to one glass a day….
  • Drink more water
  • Start on a one smoothie a day habit
  • Walk at least 3 miles a day minimum or exercise 30 minutes a day for 3 days of the week

Watch out for more great health tips to get you back on track, check back tomorrow!
