I want to look at habits today, because so often when I help people who want to change and lose weight, they fall back on old habits of eating or not exercising.  

I have been reading up on habits recently.

One definition of a habit is this; 

A recurrent, often unconscious pattern of behavior that is acquired through frequent repetition

I wanted to highlight the FREQUENT REPITITION

Whatever self talk you say to yourself, what ever you believe to be true about you, can all be changed through self talk and repetition. 

Did you get that?  Read that line above again!

 

How  Habits Can Hinder You

I know when self doubt or FEAR creeps in, you forget all your fancy affirmations and just revert to what you been telling yourself for years right?  Well it is time to recognise and shake this bad habit off. 

Bad habits can lead to procrastination, putting things off, being known as unreliable, will proceed your reputation.

Will stop you from moving forward and achieving your full potential or your dreams. 

Think about it and carefully make a plan on how you can turn these bad habits into good ones.
We all have different goals to achieve and bad habits to break. List down the bad habits that you think can be a problem when you start your action plans.

If you have a bad habit that stops you from moving forward in your life, then work on letting it go. 

Developing a good habit can set you up for so much more in your life.  

Create a new one.  21 days they say it takes to create a habit.  So if you can create positive affirmations to say to yourself for the next 21 days, you will definitely see your life turn around.

Giving Gratitute Can Help You Achieve More Out Of Life



What are you most grateful for in your life right now?  I never used to think of things such as having a roof over my head, food on my table has been something to be grateful for. But as I got older, and seeing people in situations worse off than me, that’s when gratitude started to sink in.

You see when you’re young, you just live, you just get on with life, you don’t think about how things be or how they get there.

I want you to take a moment and think about all the small things in your life that you are thankful for, for being able to wake up this morning, for being able to have sight to read this blog post, or maybe you’re grateful for good health, a roof  over your head

When you wake up each morning and are thankful and grateful for the little things in life, you will notice your life beginning to change. You will also notice  more and more things to be grateful for.

When you are truly thankful and grateful for something your energy changes, if you were sad, or negative before, you will notice that you now feel more energised and positive.

Practice gratitude each and every day, it will keep you uplifted positive and more energised.

 

Gratitude can can help you achieve your goals

Once you have set up a daily practice of being grateful, notably first thing in the morning just after waking. You might then go on to be thankful and grateful for the goals that you have set yourself for that day, but believe that you have already achieved them and be thankful and grateful to having achieved them.

Your mind is a powerful weapon which can be used to help you or to pull you down. Most people do not know how to use the mind in a positive way, and therefore it is left to rule itself .   Are you giving your mind instructions on a daily basis as to what you want to achieve, where you want to be by the end of the day, and telling your mind thank you for helping me to get to where I want to be,  is the most powerful bit of instruction you can say to yourself .

More importantly, why are you are telling your mind, or your brain these things, you should also feel as if you’ve already achieved it be truly grateful and experience how you feel During and after achieving your goal.

By putting this feeling out there you are vibrating your thoughts your feelings and your goals, and likewise the vibrations will come back to you which are on the same wave length.  This is how goals are achieved.

 

To help you stay focused you can practice the following:

  • Look at three things you are grateful for each day
  • Look at three things that you will do  that will make a difference to your day
  • Make a note of practising gratitude today and every day.

Let me know how you get on practising gratitude. I personally keep a journal of all the things I am grateful for and writing this as soon as I feel grateful for something that has come up in my life.

Change From Within

19 years ago I was faced with a dilemma. My life changed dramatically. What Should’ve been a stable place called home was a place of chaos.

My marriage broke down, and I found myself alone, a single mother with two young boys aged five and 10. A house with a huge mortgage that was previously being maintained by two salaries, and lots of bills.

I could’ve given up there and then, but the fighter in me and the priding me would not allow it. I failed to give my boys a roof over their head, and the best in life that I could with what I had.

Was it easy? It sure wasn’t. There were times when I didn’t even know where the next meal was going to come from, or how I would get to work as I didn’t have enough money in my account. The term living from paycheque to pay check that’s no joke. This was my life!

The pride and stubbornness in me stopped me from asking for help where I knew I possibly could have especially from my parents.

I began to look for a way that I could replace the income that walked out of the door. This was the beginning of my network marketing journey. You see, when you are pushed tightly up against a wall you can either submit and giving, or you can fight and try and get around the wall, over the wall, or through the wall.

I stopped feeling sorry for myself and began fighting for my survival, for my sanity and for my kids. I vowed I would never be put in such a vulnerable position ever again.

My journey especially self development has been phenomenal, the support I received within this industry has made me go from strength to strength. Recognising my abilities, striving through my pain and sharing my struggles have not only helped me, but also helped others who were also going through difficult times in their lives.

Your past does not define you, your history does not define you, only you can make a change. But that change has to come from within you.

What is your reason to succeed, think about it because this will always drive you and push you and focus you to achieve.

Success Happens For Us Not To Us!

Listened to a motivational call today and it made me think…

If you have problems, don’t run away from them, life is teaching you lessons. If you didn’t have these problems or issues, you would not be able to cope with what other issues or problems comes to you. Life has a way of letting success happen FOR you, provided you take the steps to help yourself succeed.

Where you are, in your life right now? If you focus on the negatives, then more of that will follow. Whatever is happening in your life, is because of what you have been focussing on until now.

Most people don’t realise this and continue to moan, or be miserable or focus on the issue, rather than look outside of the issue to see what the lessons you are being taught by life. It is up to you to change things going forward.

You are able to get what you want in life, if you are able to manifest it. To be able to do this you need to have vision and objectives to help you focus. Don’t worry about HOW you will get there, just focus on the vision and the objective daily until whatever it is has manifested itself. The law of attraction works, you just have to have blind trusting faith in what ever it is you want that you will achieve this if you focus and believe.

Being grateful for the little things in life, will also help to bring your intention closer to you. Having a mindset of gratitude will make you see life in a more positive and focussed way.

Some people have a way about them, they critique even the smallest things, what they don’t realise is the negative vibes they are creating around themselves by doing this. This will only bring more negative vibes. For those that are around these people, if you begin to engage it will also bring you down to their level, and negativity will follow.

Life is far from perfect, so why look for perfection in everything you do? Nature is full of imperfect things, but they still create a vision of beauty.

Send out messages of gratitude daily and you will start to see changes in your life.

Success happens when you have vision and goals and take action to work towards them, success does not happen to us, it is something that is made up of hard work and years of effort.

Success happens FOR those who take action or steps to make it happen…
